Treatment for canine scabies:

1. Cut off the hair of the affected area and wash the affected area.

2. Ivermectin (Haihuomi) 1% concentration, 0.5-1 mg/dry gram of body weight, subcutaneous injection on the back, once every 6 to 7 months, 2 to 3 times as a course of treatment. Most of the affected dogs can be cured after 2 to 3 injections in clinical practice.

3. Medicinal bath therapy, use 0.03-0.06% Lindane liquid medicinal bath, repeat once a week later.

4. Rub the affected area with 0.5% trichlorfon solution to prevent poisoning caused by excessive concentration or licking by dogs. Repeat the rubbing once after 7 days. You can also use trichlorfon plus waste engine oil, rub the affected area, and repeat it every 5 to 7 days.

Symptoms of Canine Scabies:

1. Generally, it first occurs on the head, and then spreads to the whole body. The skin of the sick dog becomes red, and then forms blisters. After the blisters rupture, yellow fish-like scabs form. Thickened or cracked skin, severe hair loss from scratching or rubbing the affected area due to intense itching.

2. The skin is red with rash-like nodules, and there are a lot of bran-like dander on the surface.

3. The sick dog has severe itching and scratches with its hind limbs from time to time. When there is infection, the affected part may have purulent secretions and odor.
