There are several major manifestations of parasites in dogs:

1. The dog always scratches with its paws, or shakes its body and head. This may be due to scabies, fleas, lice, and ear mites.

2. Scabs and pustules appear on the dog's body, and even hair loss. These are most likely dogs infected with scabies mites.

3. When combing the dog's hair, I found small black particles, which were blood-colored after being dissolved in water. It could be that the dog has fleas.

4. The dog suddenly becomes emaciated, and the ribs are obvious. But eating and drinking are normal. This may be a dog infected with tapeworms, roundworms, hookworms and other internal parasites.

5. The dog often coughs or has shortness of breath, but does not have a cold or other diseases. It could be that your dog has heartworm or toxoplasma infection.
