Cleaning and Care of Dog Ears

1. Before cleaning the dog's ears, first check the condition of the ears. Things to check for are dirt, earwax colour, smell, skin redness, etc.

2. When checking, fix the dog firmly so that the dog will not move wildly.

3. If any abnormalities are found, do not clean the ears immediately, but choose to go to the pet hospital for treatment, and then decide on the subsequent cleaning according to the diagnosis given by the veterinarian.

4. For dog breeds with hair in the ears, the excess hair should be cut short before cleaning the ears, and the ear hair should be gently pulled out with pliers and fingers.
